INWALL: resistance test on the glass partition walls

In March 2019 VetroIn commissioned the company EcamRicert SRL of Vicenza to carry out a resistance test to impacts of the glass partition walls, specifically for the INWALL product.

INWALL, the first patented wall in structural glass bent to the outside without glues with high anti-seismic performance, was tested to verify the resistance of the sample subjected to impacts. The horizontal split load resistance test consists in carrying out a load with a pneumatic piston moved automatically.

Impact resistance test results on glass partition walls

The results obtained by INWALL in the impact resistance test certify its stability. The tests were carried out on models IW1 (wall with asymmetrical glass) and IW2 (wall with double glass):

    • IW1
      200 kg/ml
    • IW2
      300 kg/ml

In addition to seismic tests and tests that guarantee 100% earthquake safety, thanks to these new tests, INWALL also achieves the important goal of resistance to horizontal load.
